Tesfaye Bekele, the owner of the Suke Quto Washing Station in the Guji zone of Ethiopia, is a pillar of his community. Driven by environmentalism and a desire to sustain the local economy, Tesfaye’s hard work has literally put Guji on the map for specialty coffee.
FGC has been buying washed coffees from Suke Quto for years, often roasting them as a staple in our blends.
