FGC's green coffee buyer, Phil Anacker visited the renowned organic coop this year to see how the UDEPOM farmers were recovering from hurricane Stan's destructive effects in 2005. Happily, this amazing Fair Trade coop is back in full form, producing beautiful coffee from the prized bourbon and Tipica varieties known for their multi-dimensional flavor.
